Today Iā€™m going to to review a website by learning how to give Burger feedback with the solution as well.

Letā€™s jump right in!

*Note that everything that is written here was solely my opinion in a user perspective. Please feel free to have any opinions and thoughts too. Hohoho.. Oh boi itā€™s gonna be a fun and interesting way to learn! šŸ˜Š

Theme : Job Vacancy Website

Case A ā€” Karir.com

  1. Feedback for the search bar :
Job Vacancy Search Bar in Karir.com
  • Reduce in words usage. First of all I think the the message that they are trying to tell is clear and I can immediately understand it, it is to find jobs based on position, company name or keywords. But I see that the last word that says ā€œKunciā€ (Eng: Key) is being cutted off in the search bar. And since the main message here for the the jobseeker is to search based on position, company name, and keywords, it could be displayed just ā€œJabatan, Nama Perusahaan atau Kata Kunciā€ (Eng: Position, Company Name, or Keywordsā€).
  • Capital letters for consistency. I think overall itā€™s good and no one really pay any attention to it right but I think a little improvement on details would be great! Since other words are capitalized, the words ā€œkata kunciā€ should too.
  • Add search icon. Same like the second point, I think itā€™s good to have consistency.
  • Add space between two search bars. Itā€™s just a little happy bumps but I think adding the space between it could increase the ā€œbreathing areaā€. And since both function the same, I implement the Proximity Law where things that are similar should be brought closer to each other and thatā€™s why I only add a little space between them.
  • ā€œUbahā€ (Eng: Change) word removal. I have tried to tap the button with no location being filled but nothing happens. But when I fill it with location name and I tap the ā€œUbahā€ button, it deletes the location name. So since it function the same as delete, I think it could be removed to increase simplicity.
  • ā€œCari Lowonganā€ (Eng: Search Job Vacancy) button removal. Since thereā€™s already ā€œCari Lowonganā€ Word on the very left and whenever user tap Enter/ Return it function pretty much the same as ā€œCari Lowonganā€ button, I think it could be removed as well.
